John Patrick Waller is a former banner ad wizard turned photographer. Like many others born in the 1970s, John’s first meaningful exposure to photography and self-publishing came through 1990s skateboarding culture. The DIY ethos of this era continues to inspire his current work, which orbits around concepts of chance, place, and personal documentary.

Currently based in New England, John is also the founder of Permanent Drift, an independent publisher of small photography books.
