Project Basho presents “Extended Eye,” an exhibition featuring the work of nine students participating in “Your Next Photo Project: Inspiration to Exhibition,” our 10-month development-focused course. These images represent a turning point in each photographer’s way of thinking and working, and are the product of continuous hard-work, discussion, and critique among peers.
Curated by instructor Tsuyoshi Ito, the exhibition highlights these emerging photographers of varying backgrounds and the potential that each presents for our vibrant and growing photography community in Philadelphia.

The last time I slept in a tent was almost 20 years ago to the day.
Anxiously awaiting the arrival of several paper samples from Innova, which I will use to print and assemble further iterations of my photo zine project, Buffer States. I’m looking forward to doing business with this company, because so far their customer service has been excellent!
These are some exercises in freezing and blurring motion. I used Alien Bees mono lights and some flour to get these shots. This was a good learning experience and I’m looking forward to refining this technique.
